Orb - An orb is a sphere like object, usually in a transparent state.  An Orb is believed to represent the soul of a deceased person, an animal or an angel.  The common color they appear is a soft transparent white.  However they have been photographed in several colors, such as blue, red, yellow, etc.  

Some photographed orbs are a result of dust, light refraction, fog  or other natural causes. The current theory is that a true orb should be solid in the center and encircled by an darker outer ring. Although we try to use this current theory as a standard, sometimes activity has occurred when the photograph was taken which makes it difficult to adhere 100% to that theory.

This orb was photographed in the attic of the Villisca Axe Murder house, Business Case #7. It appears to have a solid center along with a darker outer ring.

This photo captured a bright orb "pushing" on Joyce's back - Private Home - Case #14 - Joyce detected a ghost named Daily, stating he was pushing her at the time the photo was taken. 

An orb in motion was captured by Joyce's ear as she connects with a ghost whom she named as Perry Graves. At the time this photo was taken, she stated that he was whispering in her ear. The orb in the upper right hand corner is most likely a dust orb. You can view this case on our investigations pages at Business Case #4.

The orb on the closet door was photographed after Brenda awoke to seeing an apparition standing over her as she slept on the bed. To read the details of this case go to Private Home Case#21.

 

Orb in motion (upper left corner) was captured in MPR's room soon after they arrived  at Business Case #5.   Reportings state that a woman's ghost appears to one man in particular in this room on a regular basis.

 

 

 

Most of the orbs in this photo are dust orbs, however an orb in motion is captured off the banister - This was taken just after Joyce indicated that the little boy ghost liked to slide down the banister .
