Findings and Experiences: +
2 of our guest investigators found the faucet turned on in the women’s
restroom. After questioning everyone present, no one had turned on the
faucet in the ladies room. + A growling and dragging sound could be heard in the choir loft. This was witnessed by all present, however the sound seemed to come from the speaker system so natural causes cannot be ruled out without further inspection. +
A dark shadow was observed darting about the building by several
investigators. +
Just as some of the investigators arrived on the upper floor, a recorder
set up in the Pastor’s Office recorded a male voice saying, “Come
In” +
While Misty was wearing a white choir robe in an attempt to startle one of
the investigators, an EVP was recorded in the pastor’s office saying
what sounds like, “That’s it, that’s
the last chance, I’ll be gone”.
This
same EVP was also picked up on a recorder in the choir loft. The office
recording was the clearest of the 2 EVPs.

The hymnals were tossed all over the altar when we arrived. The building
owner said this was the first time she had seen the books tossed around
like that.

While the team was sitting in the choir loft listening to what sounded
like a growling or dragging noise, a male voice was recorded saying what
sounds like “Sit
Ma'am” followed
by another male voice saying “No”. +
A recorder left in the choir loft area recorded a male “sigh”. +
One of the investigators said that she saw someone peeking at her from
around one of the corners. Later in the evening, several investigators saw
a dark shadow darting in and out of doorways down the hallway where the
classrooms were. +
The odor of coffee was smelled in the area where the classrooms were. This
occurred after team members saw a shadow darting in and out of the rooms. +
Misty got pushed in the back while she was going up to talk to the young
boys. |

Psychic Readings: + The biggest pull I’m getting right now as I head to the 2nd floor is Miss Belle. She is the one that hangs out up on the balcony. She used to sing in the choir. She is probably 66 or 67, maybe even close to 70. She really doesn’t want you to remove the seats from the choir loft. She wants them to stay. She feels if you take them away that you are taking away part of the history of the church and her.

Someone
passed away of a heart attack in the church. I feel a male having chest
pains and trouble breathing in the southeast corner. Last name sounds like
Sampson. I can’t quite hear what he’s saying but it sounds like
Sampson. +
Earlier
I saw a white shadow walk off to the right while we were setting up
equipment. +
The preacher that is here doesn’t have anything to be ashamed of. He did
what he did. He needs to forgive himself. +
I am hearing the period around 1936 for Miss Belle. I’m trying to pick
up her first name but I’m not quite hearing it. Something like Cara or
Sara. Miss Belle loved singing and looking out at the people from the
choir loft and wants you to leave a place for her to sit in. Her
husband’s name is Frank. +
The preacher is following us. I don’t want to confront him. He is
sneaking around almost like he’s playing hide and seek. I am very
uncomfortable up here (pastor’s office). I feel the need to put my back
against the wall in here. I can’t breathe in here. I feel self pity out
of him. He feels sorry for himself that he is still stuck here but it’s
by his own choice. He has to get over what he did. He’s trying to out
run us but we’ll catch up with him later. +
I just heard a little one’s voice twice but it is so faint. Was there a
toy room for kids downstairs? There was a blue truck. +
The preacher is wanting to keep us away from the room next to his office.
He’s trying to take us away from there which is why he comes running
away. He’s wanting me to follow him downstairs. +
Miss Belle is the only female that I feel in this building. +
One of the little boys names is Michael. +
There was some kind of trail that came through this place. With that
trail, there is a grave here that was buried off the side of the road.
It’s a younger male energy. He got sick or something and instead of
finding a cemetery, they just buried him alongside the trail. He was about
16 or 17 years old. +
I am very uncomfortable with the choir loft stairway. It’s like there is
something secretive about it.

feel a weight pushing down on me as I come into this room (room beside
pastor’s office) and that’s because

going to have to step out because I feel if I piss him off too bad there
will be a piece of concrete or something come down. (An EVP of a male
voice was recorded at this time saying what sounds like: “In
the d-a-r-k”) I
feel like something’s going to drop.

There are 6 here including the one that is buried on the grounds. +
Does the name Henderson mean anything to anybody? +
There were spankings given in one of these classrooms. They were pretty
strict with the kids. There is a closet that a couple of boys were put in
for punishment. +
One of the boys looks to be about 9 or 10, the other looks to be about 11.
Because of their own feelings of guilt, they have come back here. The
preacher programmed their minds to think they were bad kids and would go
to hell for what he did to them. I feel the preacher also was one of the
Sunday school teachers. Michael is the younger one. The older one said
that he had the most pain. He really has a hold on these boys. There is
nowhere for them to hide up here, they are not safe. He still finds them.
Miss Belle helps take care of them. She tries to protect the boys. (Tape

MPR Summary: It
was concluded by MPR that the former church is haunted by 5 ghosts as
follows: a former preacher who was evicted from the church, 2 young boys
who attended the church at that time, a choir member named Ms. Belle and a
young boy who was buried along a trail prior to the church being built. We found this location to be a very interesting place full of activity. There were many unexplained noises and lots of shadow people. We would like to thank the owners of the building for the opportunity to investigate and hope that they enjoyed the time they spent with us. |
