Brief
Home and Property Description & History: Two-story turn-of-the-century home consisting of 4 bedrooms upstairs, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and bathroom downstairs. The home has been in the family since the 1920’s or 1930’s. |
|
Current
Owner Reportings: +
Sounds of footsteps going up and down the stairs. +
Young son reporting that a young child was visiting his room. +
Feeling of being watched. + Other incidents were reported but due to a computer crash, this information was lost. |
|
Reported
Findings and Experiences: + 7 EVP’s were recorded. 5 of those EVP’s were recorded during Misty’s reading and are listed below under “Psychic Readings.” Of the two remaining EVP’s, one was recorded in the basement of a female voice which sounds like she is saying, “They Attacked by Day” or possibly “They Attacked My Name.” The other one was recorded in the upstairs hallway of a male voice giving the name, “Tom Griffith” or “Tom Griffin.” Misty was downstairs at the time talking about the two brothers whom she thought occupied the house before the relatives of the current owners. |

Readings: MISTY +
Someone
died of a heart attack. He was probably about 66 or 67 years old. He died
fairly young. This may have been around the late 50’s or early 60’s.
(Homeowner was able to verify that this may have
been her great grandfather who once lived in the home.) +
I’m hearing the name Michael Joe. I don’t know why yet. This was back
when the Native American’s were here. +
The house sits on a ley line of water. +
Two brothers lived here in the house at the same time. They were older.
I’m trying to figure out where they fit in and they are not your family.
The two brothers that I’m seeing….one of them went to battle and the
other one didn’t. +
There was another house here before this one. This isn’t the only house
that has been here. An EVP of a male voice was
recorded saying what sounds like “It
Just Is.” The other one
was here by itself. It was before the brothers were here. +
Walter…..give me a second Walter…..Wow….are you doubtful about what
is going on tonight? (Homeowner indicates that
she’s questioning the information concerning the brothers owning the
house.) I’m picking up on you and
I’m trying to block you out. It’s like you’re questioning what I’m
saying and I’m having a hard getting through that.
(Homeowners sister asked Misty what name she
had said as she approached the steps.) I
don’t know, I don’t remember the things I say after I say them.
That’s why I carry the recorder. What name did you hear me say? (Walter,
that’s who I thought would be the one that’s looking at me.) I
was just getting ready to go up the steps when I was stopped from going up
there. Why he doesn’t want me up there right now, I do not know. Did he
have a drinking problem? I see drinking, chewing and smoking.
He was a gruffy old fart. (Walter was the
name of the great-grandfather who died of a heart attack but this was not
revealed until much later in the investigation.) +
Right now I’m getting the name Hale. This is probably the one from the
Civil War. H…A….L….E. John and Frank were the 2 brothers. +
A lot of the activity around here is associated with the Native American
who were here. This was part of their route when they changed hunting
grounds. A lot of the noises you hear in the house are from that. That’s
an impression left here on this land. It won’t go away. + An EVP of a raspy male voice is recorded saying, “Let’s Go.” He’s pacing upstairs now. I don’t know why he didn’t go into the light yet. Really he just watches over everybody more than anything. He hasn’t tried to hurt anybody or disrupt anything.
+
There is also an Allison or Alicia. +
Let’s go on upstairs. You can talk to me Walter. I’m not here to hurt
you I’m just here to help you get ready to go into the light. There is
no reason for you to stay here, you don’t have to be earthbound. +
I’ve got back pain and chest pain. He’s not in the room that you say
has the most activity. He’s in the front bedroom (Older
son’s bedroom). That’s where I saw him looking out at me when I
got here. Why is he in that room and not in the room where you say most of
the activity has occurred. +
Misty enters the youngest son’s bedroom where the
most activity has been reported. Is this a
girls room? (No)
Has there recently been a death of a young child in the area? Maybe
a car- wreck? Please check and find out. I’m picking up on the name
Allison or Alicia. She’s probably between 7 and 11 years old. I’m
picking up on this little girl here. Why she comes through, I’m not
sure. Have you had things like toys moved around, knocked off or moved?
(Not that I’m aware of but then I have 3 kids and I wonder at times.)
Have you heard giggling or laughter? (No. Do
you know what she might look like?) She
has kind of a sandy-blonde colored hair, blue eyes. +
Have you seen a person going down the stairs before or coming up? (Yes.)
+
There was also a battle fought around here. Not far from here. North of
here at an angle, up the river is where they came across into Kansas. +
I’ve got pain in my back again. +
You have 3 ghosts here. The one who looks out the window and died of the
heart attack is a relative, the little girl who died about 6 to 10 years
ago and then the brother who was a soldier. The brother doesn’t stay
here all the time though, he just walks through. +
The little girl doesn’t say her name clear enough for me to understand
it. She pulls your son’s covers. She sees his light because it’s
bright so she’s attracted to that light and energy that he has. (An EVP of a male voice was recorded saying,
“Lady,
He’s a Sweet Little Boy.”) She’s trying to find
her way home but she doesn’t know how to get there. We’ll help her
with that tonight. This isn’t the only house she comes to. She goes to
another one around here to. +
(Master Bedroom) Do you ever feel anything
above your bed. Yes. He
sometimes comes here and watches out for everybody. He mainly stays up
here. Sometimes he’ll go down to the landing, down the steps. Once in
awhile he’ll go through the floor straight down to the basement. (An
EVP of a male voice is recorded here saying what sounds like,
“Down
the Steps to Get Me a Bottle.”)
He shuts doors, he opens cabinets. He’s turned out the light for
you. He has said your name. He was pacing earlier because he was
apprehensive about what I might do to him. He wants to leave, he just
doesn’t know how. There is also something else that happened to him or
something he did that was a guilt thing that made him afraid to go into
the light. +
Home owner revealed that Walter was her great
grandfather and asked Misty if he had any phrases that she could tell her
that would help confirm his presence. Goochy-goochy-goo
will mean something to somebody. Another one was “Sweet Taters” and he
smoked a cigar and chewed on the end of it. Was he working on something
when he died or was there something that needed to be done? I’m hearing
something about some kind of documents that might have need to be signed?
That’s why he didn’t go on into the light.
Homeowner indicated that there was some
unfinished family issues and an EVP of a male voice was recorded saying
what sounds like “It’s
Grandma (sounds as if this might be a name???)”. He’s
not wanting to say much more than that. +
There is nothing bad here. There is not anything ominous or evil. +
The rest of Misty’s reading was for individual
family members who were present and will remain private. |
