Brief Home and Property Description: Homeowners purchased the house about a year ago. The house is a 2-story home built sometime before 1901. It consists of a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom on the first level; 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 2nd level and an old rock cellar. History research done on the home indicates that the land was first purchased by a man named George R. in 1855. It is unknown rather a house existed on the property at this time as later plat maps shows George R living in a home nearby. The land was sold to William M. in 1866 and he and his family lived there until 1902. It is recorded in history that William M. shot and killed a horse thief on the farm in the year 1881. The 1877 plat map shows the current home existing on the property at that time so we can assume that the house was built between 1866 and 1877. In 1902, the house was sold to Joseph M. He died in 1908 but one of his sons, William M. continued living on the farm for 52 years. |

Current Owner Reportings: + Female homeowner reported that sometimes while in the master bedroom or bathroom she hears a man singing or humming. After checking the house to make sure no one is home, the singing or humming will continue after she returns. + Husband thought that he felt his wife get into bed and rolled over to put his arm around her but no one was there. + The dogs do not like the hallway upstairs and have knocked down the gate that used to block the stairway to get down the stairs. + The young son (toddler) woke up crying one night claiming that a woman had picked him up out of his bed. + Homeowners have had problems with the furnace and thermostat although they are new. Sometimes the heat will not come on until the room temperatures reach 55 or 60 degrees. + Sometimes the husband has friends over to play poker in the barn. They will hear footsteps outside the building. + Laughter can sometimes be heard coming from upstairs. + Shortly after moving in, their toddler son began playing with an imaginary playmate whom he said looked like a girl but wasn't a real girl. He is often found playing and talking with someone unseen. + On several occasions the piano cover is found lifted on the piano in the oldest son's bedroom as if someone had sat down to play it. + The male homeowner saw someone with brown hair walking from room to room upstairs. |

Reported Findings and Experiences: + In the hallway just after the female homeowner shared with the team that sometimes she would hear singing and humming while she was in the master bedroom or bathroom, an EVP of a male voice was recorded saying, "That's Me". + After Misty finished her reading in the teenage son's bedroom, and was leaving the room, a comment was made about brown recluse spiders. A male voice responded with "Not---Maybe". + While in the youngest son's room, his mother was explaining how sometimes she would walk in on him and find him playing with someone unseen, then he would pretend that it had not been happening. An EVP was recorded during this conversation of a male voice saying, "We Help Him". + While in the hallway, both Misty and Brenda saw a partial apparition of a young girl dart from the young son's bedroom into the master bedroom. Misty saw her legs while Brenda saw a head with long blonde hair. |

Psychic Readings: MISTY Outside + There were some soldiers laid out in a creek near here. + There was another house here that burned down a long time ago. + There is a cemetery not too far from here with a couple of stones. I'm feeling the cemetery over a ridge. That's where the soldiers come from. One of the soldiers name is Johnson. + There's a little boy here named Jeremy and a little girl named Allison. I can see Jeremy playing. There must have been a slave quarters or some small shops out here. An EVP of a male voice was recorded at this time which says, "The Bad Man, Scared Me" There may have been some smaller buildings where the helpers lived. + Jeremy was a little black boy. He comes from the slave quarters. It was behind where the house is. The slave quarters burned down. Another EVP of a male voice was recorded just after this statement of a male voice saying, "The Boy". Perhaps he was trying to tell Misty that there was a connection between "The Boy" and the burning of the slave quarters. The other house was further over in the pasture. + I hear footsteps coming up here in early evening. They come up from the creek. There are two soldiers. Mr. M. who owned the house between 1867 until 1902 was a union soldier. His neighbor living across the road was also a union soldier. Perhaps occasionally they meet up to walk the homesteads. + It is different back here from what it is now. There used to be a porch off the kitchen and the kitchen came out a little bit further than what it is now. They cooked on the porch area during the summer. + The little boy is up in that room looking down at us. Misty pointed to the youngest son's bedroom window. A photo taken at this time shows an orb in the window. + This is a thong tree back here. They were created by the Indians and made to point towards water or safe places to go. You usually don't see them up this far north, but it that shows that they did come through here. You do have some Native Americans here. + The soldiers your son is seeing are wearing dark uniforms. + Does the name Robertson or Robinson ring a bell? I'm picking up that name. Cemetery records reveal that a cemetery nearby contains several burials of Union soldiers. Included in those burials are the names of Robbins and Robinson. + Your family has a light energy around them that attracts them to the house. |

1st Level, Kitchen + The little girl keeps coming around into the kitchen. Her name is Allison. |
|
1st Level, Oldest Son's Bedroom + Is your grandfather deceased? Female homeowner confirmed that he was. You have a grandfather that comes around you. Was your grandfather a big man with sort of a crew cut, big ears and a big face? Homeowner began crying and confirmed Misty's description of her deceased grandfather. I feel him in this room. He comes in and out. He's not a ghost, he comes in to check on you. He just kind of does the guardian thing. The piano, did he like music? He's the one that opens the piano cover. This is a sign from here that he's here. He doesn't come very often but he does come in when you've asked for him to come. This room feels very light and cheerful. |

2nd Level, Hallway + Jensen, Jansen, Jennison. I'm seeing a midwife here who took care of wounded soldiers during the Civil War. Her first name was Cindy. + This hallway is very heavy. I feel one of the soldiers up here. He has white hair, he's dizzy. An EVP of a male voice was recorded at this time which sounds as if he says, "I Just Came Up for the War". This hallway makes me real dizzy. I can smell the smell of musty boots. |
|
2nd Level, Master Bedroom + This room wasn't originally used as a bedroom. It was used as an attic. I'm feeling a sickness up here. It was like pneumonia or something else. I see three twin beds lined up in here. The attic wasn't finished but they used it as a bedroom. There were at least 4 children living in the home between the years of 1870 and 1902. The family that bought the home in 1902, reared 6 children. |
|
2nd Level, Youngest Son's Bedroom + I'm feeling the little black boy in here. The two children like to play with your young son. This room was originally a porch. There was only one actual bedroom upstairs. + The little girl died of an illness in the home. She was about 8 years old. Research done on the property indicates that a 12 year old girl named Mary Callie died of pneumonia in 1887 while living in the home. |
|
2nd Level, Spare Bedroom, Pink Room + Allison passed away downstairs but she likes to play in this room. There was a staircase that came up from the outside into this room. As mentioned above, a 12 yr old girl named Mary Callie M____ died in the home. On the census records, she is listed as "Callie". Could Misty have mistaken the name "Callie" for "Allie" which would be short for Allison? |
|
Cellar + They used to keep straw and vegetables down here. + There is something about this cellar that makes me think that it was built more in the late 1800's. |

MPR SUMMARY MPR felt that based upon evidence collected and psychic readings that the house was haunted by a young black boy, a young girl and a Union soldier. A clearing was performed and the family reported that things were quieter but not still. They are still hearing walking and banging noises and the dogs are still reacting to something in the pink room. |
