= The man hid in the cellar. He waited there.

= I hear children laughing and saying, "They're Here, They're Here, Come Play With Me." They are very excited about us being here.

= There is a feeling, a drawing, like electricity to the house. It gives me goose bumps.

= It's really strong in here. It's okay to come to me. Nothing can hurt you anymore….yes, it was bad. You were scared but it's alright now.

=What's in the closet? In the closet. In the closet.

= They're more settled now. They were a little spooked of me. I was somebody different. It's not as intense right now. It was very intense to come through the door.

= There's something with the closet. Cubby hole, hiding. "Hide, Hide." I want to say "watching them". That closet.

= An EVP was recorded as Kathy ascended the stairway of a male voice saying "Right Now….Back Off."

= It was horrible, but I'm not afraid. She was in there (the attic) Somebody was on this bed (children's room) Somebody was here….all over here. "Have to watch the road so that they don't know the carnage that I have made." An arrogant, malicious, horrid, he's absolutely horrid. He can do it because he has an attitude like "So There!" He likes to look at what he's done. An EVP of a male voice was recorded here saying, "And Watch How You Say It."

= He wanted to put something in there (the attic) kind of to hide it because he didn't want anybody else to see it because it was his own little thing. His own little secret thing. Nobody could have that, touch that but him. "It's mine. I did it."

= It's not so strong now. It's letting up. The attic had something to do with it but I don't understand just yet. I want to see the cellar.

= Did he keep his axe in here (the attic)? Did he keep something in here? Nobody knew he had it. He wanted to hide something there. A secret thing. Something with the way he was twisted. Something he thought was all his that nobody knew. His own little thing……one of the victims? He wanted to put the little girl in there. She's so scared. "All Mine!" She's scared. He made her look at them then he brought her out, put her on that bed. When it was too much for her little mind, she just blanked out.

= I wanted to say two men. I know the one who killed was so arrogant. Somebody else knows about it but they weren't there. He had this planned. Somebody else knew but wasn't there. He is so hideous. He reeks of much evil.

= He's not real tall. Has short blondish, sandy reddish, not well combed, not taken care of hair. He's pale, like a redheads skin, a light white, kind of freckly. He is horrible. Butcher…..maybe butcher.

= I want to leave and come back because I need to be in there (the attic). I want to wait.

= She sat off in the right corner of that room (the attic). There's where she sat. That's where her mind snapped and she couldn't take it anymore. She was in the corner and he made her see.

= I'm shaky.

= He squatted in the corner listening for them upstairs…grinning…thinking about upstairs. Did they find a whiskey bottle? He hid it back here. He was in here. He liked it down here. It makes you sick at your stomach down here. Makes you want to retch. He had something down here, crouched in the corner….listening for footsteps.

= Someone in the corner over here by the piano. Kathy broke down crying when she reached the corner. She had picked up the sadness of someone who stood there after discovering the bodies. The little girl wants to hug me.

= I feel him dragging her through the small part of that door (the attic). He drags her down the hall to the bedroom. Her eyes see but her mind doesn't. I see him yanking her arm. I think he put her in the closet. He made her see everybody. There's a twinge of possibility that he had violated her. Dark hair…I see a girl in the corner, dark hair, brown eyes. The description of the girl given here sounds more like Lena than Katherine.

= The children are happy that we're here.

= Kathy laid on the bed. I feel very heavy here, like something is on my chest. Like I can't get up. My head wants to point to my left. It doesn't want to turn the other way. The kids don't want me to lay here. This is upsetting them because they are afraid for me.

Upon our return visit, Joyce was more prepared for what she would encounter in the house and was able to give us the following psychic reading during what we felt was a partial repeat of the residual that occurred on our first investigation.

Just after a strong energy hit Mike while he was sitting in the stairway, a train whistle was heard at 1:07 a.m. With the sounding of the whistle, the team went into the children's bedroom to await and witness any events that may repeat from the first investigation. Joyce began to give a reading as these events unfolded:

An EVP was recorded at this time but was unintelligible.

= He's getting the parents.

= He's coming in here now. He goes to the west bed first and then to the bed on the east.

At this time the room began to change. Some described it as hazy, while others said it was grainy, darkening or out of focus.

= He's got Katherine. He's holding her down on the bed. She couldn't get away. He hit her. He hit her again.

= He turned a small light, lit a light, turned it way low so he could see.

= They had lights on. They left a light on for the children. On the dresser, in the children's room.

= He said, "I'm going to finish up now."

Joyce began talking to the spirit:

= You got paid didn't you? He said it was none of my business. It's my business if I say it's my business.

= You can't hurt me. No, you can't. Because I'm from another time period, now deal with that.

An orb is recorded on video just after this statement at 1:16 a.m.

= He paid you. He paid you $500 before and $500 after and you're to pick up the rest. I know because I can see it.

= I don't care if your hand is crippled.

= I know your name, Harry, Harry, Harry.

Back to the reading:

= He has on dark pants, homemade black pants like the Amish wear. He has on a hat. Medium height. Shirt, a dark blue shirt, a grey-brown jacket. The jacket doesn't match anything. It has a little stripe in it. It's a dark, dusty brown with a stripe. He has whiskers all over his face. Whiskers around his mouth and face. Real thin hair on top. A big head. He wore glasses when he could get them, he says. They got broke. Little glasses. Brown work boots. He has a gold pocket watch. It wasn't his, he stole it from somebody and was proud of that. It has a clear face with big numbers. He's proud of the fact that he stole it.

= He went to three meetings with Frank and Albert and another man with the last name King.

Jeff asked Joyce if Mansfield was present and Joyce seemed to suddenly channel Mansfield. Jeff asked if he killed his family and Joyce said that we wouldn't admit it. Jeff then asked "Why are you here William" and Joyce responded, "I'm here on business." Jeff asked, "Why are you here today?" Joyce responded, "I came back because you wanted me here. Besides, it's a break for me." Joyce then returned to her reading:

= Mansfield is not here. It's Whipple.

= Kathy: He stands cocky

= He's a big robust man

= Kathy: He likes to stand with his right leg out and his hand on his hip.

= His right hand is crippled. There's something wrong with it. He hurt it in an accident.

Jeff commented that Whipple was known to be a bar room brawler.

Brenda asked which hand he used to hit them with and Joyce responded:

He hit them with both hands and he says, "I did a good job."

= He smokes a pipe. I see him standing up against a post tapping his pipe on it.

Brenda asked where he went after the murders.

= He went to Kansas, then Nebraska, then to Illinois, Chicago when he left.

= He liked to gamble and they knew that. He had allot of money on him.

= Mansfield lived a long time but Whipple didn't. He died.

An orb is recorded on video after this statement at 1:30 a.m.

= He died unexpectedly.

Another orb is recorded on video at 1:30 a.m. and at 1:31 the team begins to hear a dripping sound which sounded like dripping blood. They also comment on how the room seemed to appear normal again.

= He died not long after. Frank didn't want to be black mailed anymore.

= Harry got hurt in a fight. He also hurt his right knee.

= Katherine and Lena were the last to die. It took Katherine a little while to die.
