Reported Findings and Experiences 08/01/2003: + Team members spotted the shadow of a man, about 6 foot tall standing in the corner of the living room soon after they arrived. They began taking pictures of this area. During this round of pictures, a male voice is recorded saying, "God Damn". + EMF readings taken in the remodeled family room peaked to 7+, particularly in the corner of the room by the door leading to the kitchen. An orb was captured in this area several times throughout the evening. Also, when Brenda was running the EMF meter, she received the sensation of someone rubbing both of her arms. After asking the ghost to allow Amber and Kim to experience the same sensation, they too were touched. The EMF meter peaked on three encounters. + Upon leaving, Brenda felt someone touch her arm again just before she got into the car. Before leaving, the team promised to bring back their psychics to help send him into the light. Brenda felt this was a gesture of gratitude. Homeowner has reported a decrease in activity since the initial investigation and feels that the ghost is patiently waiting for his chance to communicate with her via a psychic. + 10 EVP's were recorded all of a male voice and most in response to questions asked by the homeowner. Because some of these questions are private, only the EVP's that were recorded will be reported. Besides the EVP already mentioned above, other EVP's recorded were as follows: "He Could Adopt You", "Hurry", "I Never Beat Her Up", "Ohhh, Nooooo", "Please", "We Got A Daughter", "Whew, Thanks", "Yeah" and "I Saw The Flash". The last EVP listed was said in the background as team members discussed having trouble with their cameras flashing.

Reported Findings and Experiences 08/30/2003: + Homeowner reported that the activity had decreased considerably after the initial investigation. + 7 EVP's were recorded on this visit while Misty was trying to communicate with those that were present in the house. The following EVP's were recorded of male voices, most in response to questions that Misty was asking on behalf of the homeowner: "Ignorant" (it was common for the deceased father to often mispronounce words or to stress certain syllables when trying to make a point. When this EVP was recorded, he was expressing his regret about not establishing a relationship when he had the opportunity), "Yes", (this was answered in response to a question asked about an act that was committed in the past), "Yelp" (This was a response about the relationship between the deceased father and the homeowner's mother), "Not Long" (this comment was made after Misty informed the homeowner that she would be expecting another child very soon), a female voice also commented on this statement with "No Pain". It is believed that the female voice was the spirit of one of the homeowner's friends who died in when they were teenagers. This same female voice also responded by saying "Yes" when homeowner commented on an angel that was made as a memorial to this friend. Another male voice which is believed to be the ghost of the former male resident who died in the home gave his opinion about the evening by making the following statement, "They're Too Talkative".

Psychic Readings: The details of the psychic reading conducted by Misty will remain private; however she did confirm for the homeowner that the ghost of her biological father was in the home seeking her forgiveness. The spirit of her deceased friend visited often to play with her daughter and was present on that evening to help the father go into the light. The male resident that died in the home was angry because he could not find his wife. After being told that his wife had passed on, he was ready to leave and join her.

Clearing: A clearing was conducted and both the biological father and the former male resident entered the light. Another spirit who had died in a highway accident joined them. The homeowner has reported that no additional activity has occurred in the home.

MPR felt it was important to share this investigation with our readers because it gives a good example of why it is important to have closure with our loved ones before we pass on. Sometimes we don't realize our mistakes until it is too late to atone for them. Luckily in this case, Misty was able to be the communication medium to help resolve issues between this biological father and his daughter. Although the relationship will never have the chance to develop, understanding and forgiveness were attained.
